CONCERT

Today's was fun. Everyone was so high. I enjoyed the concert. Because of time constraint, I shall summarise the whole thing. The concert was a not bad; i personally feel that Kranji did better. We aren't really enjoyed the music due to some spoiler who happily chat LOUDLY around our area. I was turning my head to search for the sound and gave them an angry face asking them to shut up.

The songs in the concert were what we played before. In other words, we too have the scores. The concert ended quite successfully. I found the current Sectional Leader of Clarinet and had a small chat with him. He was quite cheeky in a sense but still quite well-behaved.

Actually in order to arrive on time, i took a cab there. Cost us about $12 each with a very nice service. Took a cab back again after we took our meals in Tiong Bahru Plaza, Burger King. This uncle was the worst i had ever seen. He missed almost every exits. I was going to throw temper. Peiwen still happily listening to songs and Vivien going on the extent of blasting. The taxi was the most dangerous vehicle in the whole wide world. He was swinging his cab while driving. This shows that the percentage of having an accident is very high.

I reached home at about 12 plus. Took my shower and i am here blogging. Now is late and i need some sleep.

Guys, I didn't score well for Chinese. I really appreciate my friends who came and comfort me in my times of bad. I am really very lucky to have all of you with me. I am really okay now, need not to worry. Everything happens for a reason. I believe that the result has its reason.

I cannot make decision for my path ahead but this result made me set my goals. Sounds like a good thing.

Another school day??

Today was just another school day. What makes it special?? Nothing actually. Just an urge to blog again!!

I received back my A maths paper today. I was so happy. I passed. People may say that we should aim higher instead of just a pass. Well, I failed my A maths last year for End Of Year Examinations, a very nice F9 was my score. Can you imagine, from a F9 i jumped to a C6!!! That is a 3 grade jump. Clap for me!!!!!

I still have Chemistry and Physics paper not back yet. I don't want to ask the result. I have a feeling that they might be horrible. It's the best to be keep in the dark.=P

To continue from the previous post, i did mention that i will go back for my darling maths homework. Guess what, homework not done!!!!! I did say to him that IF he didn't finish the work i gave him, i will continue to add on the work load. I did what i promised. Spelling for the the different separation method TOMORROW. He gave me that impossible face. Too bad!!! Since i didn't manage to teach him maths, maths homework will be shelf off for TODAY ONLY.

Being my tutee is not easy. Ganesh and Eekie are examples for that. I made Eekie stayed back in order to complete her corrections. I told her because i hate choir members thus i did that to her. ( I love choir members.. <3) She then complained so on and so for and even until now, she doesn't want to do corrections. What a stubborn girl. As for Ganesh, i controlled even tighter. His handwriting was horrible and the number of Re-do exercises were uncountable. He was dying in the hands of me. =P

Before i end this, O level results are releasing on 24th January. I saw that on the news. It is a thursday for everyone's information. Wish those who are taking results good luck. I think they need that. =}

Fun, fun and more fun

Major test free??

I was late for home again. I was having fun in school today. I was puzzled for my attitude too. Getting high all of the sudden. I completed my 2.4KM run and was perspiring like mad. It has been long since i ran like this. My shirt was soaked and i "crawled" back to school.

Nice Mr Teo let us choose the game we would like to play for the second period of the lesson. I found out that i can't play badminton. Not don't know how to play but badminton in tennis style.

• I threw the shuttlecock up and hit
• Correct method: DROP the shuttlecock and hit
• I turn the racket
• I stood like i was playing a tennis match
• My force was far too great for badminton

Happy moments ended early and i proceed for my break. I was so hungry. I drank two cups of juices to replenish the amount of water i had lost and RICE!!! I don't take rice during recess because it's heavy but i changed for that. Strange??

I watched badminton tournament today. I rarely spent my time watching match and i seek for a change today. The match was a not bad. Our school won i think. I'm not so sure, didn't watch the whole match. I still have band practice!!!

Went for dinner with my BABE. We had Long John Silver. I did something stupid which I'm not going to mention. I know this post is rather weird. Bear with it!! I'm just too sleepy for any post. I am yearning for my dreamland. My body has its mind of its own isn't it??

Elaine's rules??

To a place to comfort myself, i went back to my tuition centre. I began my complaining and i discovered this boy which i had never see before.

His name is Leonard. He was okay. I taught him maths until i was going to puke out blood. He was criticizing me when i was teaching and kept on looking at his watch which was very distracting. That was the first time i made careless mistake in maths.

The equation: 48x= 45x+180

48x-45x=180

3x=180

x=60 (correct)

I did:

48x+45x=180

93x=180

x=1.9++ (wrong)

I done the question many many times and i couldn't find the answer. That boy shouted that i am not fit to be his teacher. Just a secondary 2 boy and he behaved like that. That's bad. Since he was rushing home, i gave him 12 Questions of Algebra as his homework. Hand in on Monday.

Elaine's rules for maths:

• Do corrections when you got the questions wrong.
• When you tell me the questions are easy, i expect them to be all correct
• Reasons must be reasonable for not doing work, copy the Question 10 times if reason is not supported
• Handwriting must be legible. Redo if i can't read.
• I will teach you until you know how to do

Now i know why the maths tutee don't like me to teach them maths. I have high expectation, don't i ?? I personally feels that it is good to have a strict and responsible maths teacher. Under them, we can learn well. Be it afraid to score well, be it he or she teaches well, anyone that can make you excel is a good one.

That boy too complained that i was far too strict. Too bad then. I am returning to that place again on Monday to get my homework which is going to satisfy me and also the ice-cream treat. At least these both will brighten up my day!!!

Horrible tests

It has been two days since i last blog. Why is that so?? Thanks to the teachers. They were giving us tests to prove that we were suitable for pure sciences. I had Chemistry paper on Wednesday. I personally feels that it's okay but i don't know the outcome of the paper. Mr Kat told me that he's going to give my parents a letter which i hope he's joking. He made me worried.

Today, which is also the worst out of the two, i had my Physics paper. There paper was so difficult. I was shaking my head when i was attempting the questions. I feared that i was the only one who don't know how to do, which freak me out. I had been staying up late for those revisions and if i still don't know, i am really an idiot. For the late part, of course not later than my dear, Jiaying who stayed until 2AM in the morning.

After much discussion, we then discovered that i am not the only one which somehow relieved me. That a good news!!! When lots of people failed to score well, there will be moderation, which i hope so.

There is something i want to share about my Physics paper. When Miss Lim collected back the papers, she stared at me, shaking her head. I wondered her weird reaction. To know what is she hinting, i decided to take a peep at the papers. I discovered that my paper was on the top of the stack. Oh my.. Disappointment in my paper. I think so =P

Before i end this, I want to thank those who lent me their calculators yesterday and today. I was carried away by my revision that i forgot to bring my calculator.
