I was pissed off with yesterday's trip which claimed to be fun. It is not fun at all!! The food was okay but the visiting and shopping was horrible. In fact, there aren't shopping. The time slots were not well planned and places to visit were either cancelled or rushed through. I was not even happy with it let alone enjoy the trip!! I shall further elaborate on the trip.
First, the breakfast. It was quite heavy and most of us can't fill the food into our tummy. (Common sense: Who don't take breakfast when they know they will be travelling out of the country??) Then, we travelled 2 hours plus to see a church. We did some singing and more singing which i think it was just a waste of time. Not the singing but the speech given by the priest. They talked really so slow and soft. Can fall asleep in the church.
After the visit to the church, we travelled 2 hours plus for lunch. The lunch was not bad, just that most of the food we are not used to it. The announcement of shopping trip was cancelled was done in the bus after our lunch. Most of the ladies were groaning!! We went to a shop that sells local product and then to the bird nest factory.
That factory is not fun. The price of their stuff is really a daylight robbery. So expensive!! I came across a little bottle which claimed that no sugar was added. After the man's further elaboration, the bottle did has some sugar content. Isn't it contradicting??
We went for a short traffic jam before dinner. We entered a restaurant and it was holding a wedding. This reminded me of Mr TYS's wedding. Everything was the same as Singapore's wedding except that they have singing competition which the guest would go up the stage and sing songs. The dinner we had was the Wedding 8 course meal. Perhaps, the restaurant didn't prepare any food other then the wedding dishes. The dishes came out fast and we were like gobbling the food to make space for new dishes. We proceed to the chocolate shop after which.
I came across this guy who was wandering outside the restaurant and followed us to the chocolate shop. I didn't notice him but his approach gave me a shock. I was "looking" for the ideal gift and he came up to me to ask whether i have a phone and wanted my number. I was stunned and told him i am not local. I hid behind the shelf after he was "rejected". The whole trip ended with us proceed to the causeway after the chocolate shop. Boring isn't it?? I was bored to death. I swore that i am not going to any of this trip ever again.
